|Services Provided:||(1)To provide technical assistance and resources for agencies providing child protection services and violence prevention services to children and families.
(2)To help communities in planning, resource identification, development of community assets and community capacity building in support of child abuse prevention and related activities.
(3)To provide or facilitate training and cross training in the areas of child abuse prevention, child sexual abuse prevention, the effects of domestic violence on children, the effects of methamphetamine and other drugs on children, as well as training and information on related issues such as human trafficking, bullying, and childhood trauma.
(4)To provide training on various child safety issues including Shaken Baby Syndrome, Happiest Baby on the Block, Safe Sleep Environments for Infants, and Child Drowning Prevention.
(5)To promote Child Abuse Prevention Month and associated activities.
(6) To provide technical assistance and support for the development and on-going maintenance of Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Coalitions established to address local needs and issues related to the safety and wellbeing of all children.
