Services Provided:Educational program for visually impaired including deaf-blind, with an emphasis on the development of independence and pre-vocational skills.

Home visits for children ages 0 - 3 within a 100 mile radius

Day program (nonresidential) for children ages 3 - 5. Children are bussed by school districts or their parents may drive them.

Residential program for ages 6 - 21
Comments:Pre-school institute each June for pre-schoolers and their parents; two low vision clinics each year sponsored by the Lions of Illinois Foundation; consultations and evaluations available.

Some costs apply; free food and room and board.
